Family Calendar Bridge is a personal, self-hosted tool operated by Scott Fullmer. It synchronizes events between the operator's selected Google Family calendar and Outlook Family calendar.
Information used
To perform calendar synchronization, the tool accesses calendar events and related fields such as titles, dates and times, all-day status, descriptions, locations, recurrence details, and provider event identifiers. It also stores event identifiers and sync timestamps in a local n8n data table so it can match corresponding events and avoid duplicates.
How information is used and shared
Calendar information is used only to read, create, update, match, and, when configured, delete corresponding events between the selected Google and Outlook calendars. Information is transmitted to Google and Microsoft through their calendar APIs as needed to carry out those operations. The operator does not sell calendar information or share it with advertisers.
Storage and retention
The n8n workflow, credential records, event mappings, and any execution history are stored in the operator's self-hosted n8n installation on the operator's computer, subject to that installation's configuration and backups. Calendar events remain subject to the storage and retention practices of Google and Microsoft. The operator can remove local mappings or clear the local n8n installation; deleting a mapping alone does not delete calendar events.
Security and access
The tool is intended for the operator's personal household use. OAuth credentials are held by the local n8n installation and are used to call Google and Microsoft. Anyone with access to the computer or its n8n account may be able to access locally stored workflow data.
